PERSIAN KING STEPS ONTO THE EUROPEAN STAGE SELLING HIS FIRST FOALS
With an average price of €74,400, Persian King is 3rd in the first crop stallions rankings, based on sales results. His first foals generated intense interest at Deauville and Newmarket as 4 of his foals were sold above €100,000. At the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale, the Top Price reached €160,000 for a colt out of MISS MONDE, by Champion Sire SIYOUNI (lot 306) Bred by Madame Andre, Madame de Barmon and Mademoiselle Ferrier, he was bought by Alex Elliott.
At the Tattersalls Foal Sale, lot 779 fetches 130,000gns. Out of Gr.3 Nell Gwyn winner and 1000 Guineas third QABALA, he was sold by Newsells Park Stud on behalf of breeder Al Shahania Stud. It’s a brilliant start as a stallion for the triple Gr.1 hero, we look forward to seeing his yearlings next season.
